Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Computer Architect to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our Avionics Products Development department, you will play a crucial role in designing the future of our avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key technologies for future avionics products and participate in benchmarking with other suppliers.
  • Develop roadmaps for new technologies and federate specialists and experts around strategic design objectives.
  • Design new onboard computers through definition of product requirements, animation of trade-offs, and allocation of requirements to hardware, software, and means.
  • Disseminate acquired knowledge throughout Airbus and support the domain strategy to maintain our position as the 'Chamber of Reference'.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in electronic devices at equipment or system level with proven experience in both hardware and software.
  • Experience with development of FPGA, microprocessors, electronics boards, and embedded critical software.
  • Good understanding of aeronautical stakes, including safety, reliability, value for customers, and certification standards.
  • Willingness to foster innovation and propose new visions and products.
  • Good analysis, synthesis, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • A negotiation level of French and English is required.
