Accor is seeking a skilled Butchery Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the butchery department, ensuring efficient and effective meat preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement standards for meat preparation, portion control, and costing.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create menus and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Lead a team of butchers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent teamwork and motivation.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to Accor's corporate policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks to ensure food meets the highest standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
- Senior High School, Hotel School, or Tourism Academy diploma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a reputable establishment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
