Purchasing Process Coordinator

Objective:
Collaborating closely with various divisions within the organization, the Purchasing department serves as a pivotal center of excellence and efficiency, aiming to develop innovative solutions, enhance competitiveness, and fortify SUEZ's market position. The department oversees a diverse supplier portfolio, managing external expenditures in the billions. To facilitate their operations, SUEZ Group entities engage in the procurement of products and services, a comprehensive process known as Procure-to-Pay, which encompasses everything from requisition to payment. Our solutions support this process in its entirety.
In this role, the Supply Officer, under the guidance of the Director of Group Purchasing Processes and Tools, is responsible for managing requests and monitoring purchase orders in accordance with established purchasing policies. The primary goal is to optimize economic performance and procurement efficiency while providing support to stakeholders.
You will become part of a skilled, dynamic, and culturally diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Purchase Requests and Orders:
- Ensure adherence to procedures, utilization of framework agreements, and compliance with negotiated terms with preferred suppliers
- Validate purchase requests and oversee order transmission - Supplier Management:
- Handle supplier creation requests
- Ensure timely updates of supplier information
- Collaborate with buyers to verify the necessity of new supplier creation - Support for Purchasing Department and Internal Stakeholders:
- Assist users with inquiries
- Report any tool discrepancies
- Work towards enhancing the skills and maturity of internal stakeholders - Catalog Management:
- Oversee and refresh catalogs - Audit Participation:
- Engage in internal and regulatory audits to ensure proper system usage and process compliance - Data Analysis:
- Generate practical reports
- Manage and ensure the availability of dashboards for Purchasing management - Project Involvement:
- Occasionally contribute to projects related to Procure-to-Pay processes and tools
The employee may also be tasked with additional responsibilities that align with their role.
Candidate Profile:
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement and purchasing processes
- Proficient in IVALUA and SAP systems
- Strong numerical aptitude and administrative skills for tracking and reporting activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on results
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience level: 2 - 4 years
