Customer Solutions Manager

For our Integrated Solutions team in South West Europe, we're seeking a Customer Solutions Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create value propositions for complex integrated solutions for a wide range of clients.
  2. Deliver and support design of propositions and comprehensive commercial response documentation to sales, and project management of the solution pursuit, in support of opportunity specific commercial and financial results, as well as customer recommendation.
  3. Build and manage global, cross-functional and multi-regional pursuit teams.
  4. Structure gathered customer requirements, capture the SOW (statement of work) and facilitate pursuit-related knowledge sharing within the pursuit team and coordinate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), Sales people and other stakeholders.
  5. Capture and manage scope and write the Proposal and Value Proposition and ensure efficiency by effective re-use of previously developed solutions.
  6. Work closely with solution sales on customer requirements, value concepts, scope and terms.
  7. Manage stakeholders and prepare progress and stakeholder reports.
  8. Prepare financial projections and attractiveness assessments and negotiation scenarios.
  9. Coordinate and align with design teams and functions in relation to resources and specific cross-regional pursuits.
  10. Work closely with solution engineer on solution and SOP development.
  11. Coordinate across regions and functions for solution pursuits.
  12. Remain informed about the BU's as well as industry best solution practices.
Requirements:
  1. At least 12 years of professional experience preferably management consultancy (Supply Chain and/or Logistics) or previous customer solution design role in logistics industry.
  2. Retail/FMCG or Automotive experience.
  3. Commercial experience.
  4. Bachelor's and Post-graduate degree in business or Supply Chain/Logistics.
  5. The ideal candidate is 'customer obsessed', commercially oriented and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
  6. Has excellent communication and social skills (needs to interact with senior stakeholders).
  7. Is data-driven, analytical, and action-oriented mindset.
  8. Ability to travel internationally (mainly Southwest Europe) on a frequent basis. Short business trips on a monthly basis.
  9. Fluent in English and French (written & spoken). Spanish is a plus.
  10. Preferred location: Paris (but can also be based in Lille, Marseille, or Le Havre).
