Position Overview
SOCOTEC Monitoring France, a branch of SOCOTEC Group, specializes in monitoring and instrumentation across various infrastructure types, including dams, bridges, tunnels, and networks.

The role of Method and Pricing Engineer (MEP) is now open within the Civil Engineering Department. This permanent position focuses on crafting financial and technical proposals in response to inquiries and tenders related to monitoring and surveying for both national and international projects.
The role encompasses various sectors, including:
- Infrastructure projects like bridges, dams, tunnels, and maritime structures
- Assessment of aging buildings and structures
- Preservation of historical heritage (churches, castles, monuments)
- Addressing natural hazards (cliffs, landslides)
Reporting to the activity manager, the position is based in Palaiseau and involves close collaboration with the Civil Engineering and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development (90%):
- Facilitating the company's commercial efforts by tracking tenders, assisting sales representatives in client meetings, and managing incoming inquiries
- Overseeing and coordinating ongoing bids, including work schedules and time management
- Creating proposal documents (technical, administrative, financial, contractual)
- Conducting design studies and defining technical solutions that align with client specifications
- Engaging with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners during proposal development
- Preparing technical documentation and cost estimates for commercial proposals
- Participating in bid approval meetings with sales, activity managers, and department directors
- Actively contributing to project reviews to enhance the quality and relevance of proposals
- Assisting in the modernization of the Method and Pricing department through continuous improvement of existing tools
Project Management and Technical Execution (10%):
- Drafting administrative and technical documents related to assigned projects (survey procedures, installation reports, measurement reports, interpretations, maintenance)
- Planning resources (equipment and personnel) for various project phases
- Supervising the implementation of monitoring installations and participating in field interventions (sensor installation, measurement campaigns)
- Processing, analyzing, and interpreting field and laboratory data, producing analyses, reports, and conclusions based on measurements
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers: procurement, delivery schedules, quality control
- Maintaining client relationships and presenting study results
- Overseeing technical, contractual, and financial aspects of projects, ensuring invoicing aligns with contractual terms, identifying potential variations, and proactively addressing financial project deviations

- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, or Topography
