About the Role
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships with customers to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts, order books, and inventory levels to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business cases are established and maintained to achieve profitability.
- Communicate effectively with customers to inform them of order progress, provide updates on delivery schedules, and negotiate pricing structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and strengthen commercial relationships with customers, process customer orders, and set up and maintain account plans and future strategies.
- Input customer orders and sales forecasts into the system, communicate delivery schedules, and liaise with stores to process shipments.
- Manage business cases, including creating and managing product and project business cases, and proposing pricing structures to internal management.
- Reporting: Support demand planning, ensure data is up to date in the system, and support finance to ensure data is accurate.
About You
- Able to build trusting relationships with customers, clearly communicate expectations and results, and adhere to deadlines.
- Able to work in a team towards a common goal, influence and negotiate at a middle management level, and make decisions with confidence.
- Able to understand others' perspectives, dynamically learn, adapt, and evolve processes as required, and have experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Hold a degree in a suitable discipline, have 1-2 years' relevant experience, and possess project management skills.
