Technical Lead Opportunity at Mapal Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Mapal Group. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and contributing to the technical strategy of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Participate in the technical strategy of the organization and contribute to the design of technical architectures
  • Analyze technical opportunities and feasibility, and define appropriate technical architectures
  • Develop programs, interfaces, and components as part of the delivery team
  • Apply and enforce the norms and standards defined by the organization

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technology as Technical Lead or similar tech role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management
  • French native speaker, fluent in English is a must

As a Technical Lead, you will lead a developer's team in the French Delivery Center and will be part of the technical strategy. You will work on concrete projects in an environment combining quality, performance, and strong human values, on the following technical stack:

  • Front: HTML, CSS, JS, VueJS
  • Back: Linux, PostGreSQL, NodeJS

What you will do:

• Supporting delivery teams: Help less experienced staff to grow technically, implement best practices, ensure code quality, monitor developments to propose the best-in-class solutions, and be proactive during technical meetings.

• Analysis and definition of technical architectures: Participate in the functional analysis of product needs, analyze tech opportunities and feasibility, define the appropriate technical architecture, participate in defining the technical roadmap.

• Design and development: Take in charge of technically complex subjects, analyze and develop components using the appropriate languages, develop programs, interfaces, and components, apply and enforce the norms and standards, document all developments.

What we bring to the table:

  • Strong development skills with SQL (ideally with PostGreSQL), our main product is database centric so most of the business logic is managed in the database.
  • Strong development skills with Javascript (front and back), ideally with NodeJS and VueJS.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management.
  • French native speaker, fluent in English is a must.

  • Familiar with our tech stack: HTLM, JavaScript, VueJS, NodeJS, PostGreSQL, Git.
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools and Azure Cloud environment.
  • Have worked for a software company.
  • Obsessed about quality and good architectures.
