Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement and Asset Management Leader to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our financial resources, procurement processes, and property assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director to oversee and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing policies and procedures, optimizing procurement processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead and supervise public procurement initiatives, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Oversee renovation projects and maintenance operations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of property maintenance plans, maximizing asset utilization and minimizing operational costs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide direct management and mentorship to department staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Coordinate regional purchasing activities, ensuring seamless procurement operations across all locations.
  • Champion economic responsibility initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
  • Develop and implement security and continuity plans, safeguarding organizational assets and operational resilience.

Desired Profile

We seek a highly qualified candidate with a strong academic background in law, economics, or business administration. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including public sector expertise, is required. Proven project management and team leadership skills are essential.

Familiarity with building regulations and safety standards is a valuable asset. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.
