About the Role
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Vice-President in debt advisory based in our Paris office to support our strong execution pipeline and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Origination
- Develop multiple deal sourcing channels by conducting research into specific market segments and by keeping contact with companies and investors to understand the overall landscape, trends, and opportunities.
- Identify new prospects.
- Participate in marketing and communication initiatives, such as preparation of detailed sector research papers.
- Prepare commercial presentations/pitches for opportunities to work with companies, corporates, and/or investors.
- Execution on Existing and Upcoming Transactions
- Lead the debt advisory process, including the preparation of comprehensive information memoranda and presentations, such as industry studies, strategic reviews, and financial analyses.
- Analyze and model business plans, manage due diligence, and support final legal negotiations.
- This role encompasses the overall execution of the deal, including coordinating and managing junior Analysts and Associates throughout the process.
- Developing Execution Standards and Training Junior Professionals
- Contributing to the Overall Development of the Company
Requirements
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical, financial, and client-driven skills in debt advisory.
The ideal candidate would:
- Have 10-15 years of experience working in the debt advisory industry.
- Have a strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting.
- Have a strong academic record, with a preference for Tier 1 European Business and Engineering schools or universities.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory); German, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.
