Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Risk Analyst to join our Global Risk Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks across all facets of our operations. Your expertise will help us maintain a strong risk-aware culture, ensuring our organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Governance: Develop and implement robust risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.
- Risk Assessment and Identification: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks facing the organization, utilizing advanced risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Implement robust risk monitoring processes to track key risk indicators and emerging threats in real-time, preparing regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the board of directors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry best practices related to risk management, ensuring our organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Risk Culture and Awareness: Foster a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization, promoting open communication, transparency, and accountability.
- Must have:
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB and familiarity in databases and API.
- Good to have:
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing risk management.
- Master's degree in finance, risk management, or a related field. Additional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are advantageous.
- 7+ years of experience in Market Risks, preferably in a Banking or Utilities company in a Trading environment. Previous experience in a leadership or senior management role is highly desirable.
