We are seeking an experienced and highly dynamic operations professional to join our team as the Head of Planning and Operations. This is a key role in ensuring the success of our rider network in France and contributing to the standard for operational forecasts and execution throughout Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable processes to ensure Deliveroo maintains world-class operations.
- Lead the further professionalism and development of the function at Deliveroo within France.
- Collaborate closely with our Global Product and Technology teams to improve systems and processes.
- Manage several direct reports, setting targets and facilitating their personal and professional development.
- Provide regular, relevant, and concise updates on operational topics to wider business stakeholders.
- A high standard of university-level education or equivalent experience in consulting, program management, supply chain management, engineering, or a high-growth start-up or scale-up.
- Experience building scalable processes, tools, and structured change methodologies.
- An ownership mindset and a curiosity to uncover and diagnose unusual outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to rally a team behind an idea and get stakeholders to buy into your ideas.
- Analytical and strategic thinking, with a demonstrated understanding of financial systems and key drivers within a dynamic operational environment.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness, with the ability to remove barriers and bottlenecks.
- Comfortable handling multiple workstreams and prioritizing tasks effectively.
