Job Description
- Develop and maintain databases for nucleotide and protein sequences, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for researchers.
- Conduct data mining tasks to extract valuable insights from large genomic datasets, supporting ongoing research projects.
- Collaborate closely with our team of scientists in annotating and analyzing genomic data, contributing to the interpretation of complex biological phenomena.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Linux environments and web server administration.
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems for efficient code management.
- Solid understanding of microbial diversity and genomics principles.
- Knowledge of biostatistics and statistical learning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
