About the Role
We are seeking an Agile Coach and Java Developer to join our team at Amadeus. As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for teaching Agile methodology and practices to our team members and participating in the Scrum Master Community. You will operate in a low level of complexity, with a simple train setup and a low number of business units represented in the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach the Agile team and teach Agile practices, including ceremonies, estimation, artifacts, and continuous improvement.
- Listen and support team members with problem identification and decision making.
- Implement Agile best practices at the team level and encourage collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in the Scrum Master Communities of Practice and other relevant communities.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile team.
- Assist with tracking the execution of User stories and capabilities.
- Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
- Track and communicate key Agile team execution metrics.
- Facilitate Agile team events, including planning, refinement, review, and retrospectives.
- Actively prepare and participate in team ceremonies at the Train level.
- Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices.
- Summarize Team goals and publish them for visibility and transparency.
About You
We are looking for a person who is comfortable with a balanced role, with 50% Scrum Master and 50% Software Developer. You should have strong knowledge of Java, MS architecture, and experience with Asynchronous communication, Kafka, synchronous communication, REST API, Json, Mongo DB, Cloud native application, and CICD.
