Albini & Pitigliani Spa is seeking a Team Lead to oversee import/export operations, warehouse management, and facilities management for our Manchester office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, team management, and health and safety management, with a comprehensive understanding of import/export operations and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of staff to achieve goals and targets
  • Overseeing import and export operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of legal, financial, and invoicing tasks
  • Managing Manchester warehouse operations and maintaining smooth workflow
  • Supervising local sales activities and ensuring the sales team is informed and capable of delivering services that align with company objectives
  • Authorising and scrutinising invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams effectively
  • Comprehensive understanding of import/export operations and regulatory compliance
  • Strong background in health and safety management, ideally within a warehouse environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to solve problems efficiently
