  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes, reduce costs, and increase quality
  • Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success

  • Manage the plant's budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control

  • Develop effective but lean structures of indirect plant functions

  • Drive the implementation of the Gerresheimer Management System (GMS)
  • Manage the plant's networking capital position
  • Maintain and develop the plant's fixed asset base (production equipment, infrastructure)
  • Manage an effective health, safety and environment system
  • Prepare the annual budget and strategic plan (OPSP), implement corresponding actions and report progress and plant performance monthly

  • University degree in business or engineering
  • Profound experience in leadership positions in manufacturing industries, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry, including relevant budget / P&L responsibility
  • In-depth understanding of production and maintenance management, good understanding of commercial functions
  • Proven track record of plant performance improvement (especially production)
  • Experience in working in an international business environment and collaborating with sites and functions abroad
  • Fluency in French and English, German skills are advantageous
  • Complex decision-making, effective communication and hands-on mentality
  • Organizational skills and high sense of responsibility
