Our Team

We're a dynamic and innovative team, passionate about technology-driven businesses. We're looking for a Senior In-House Legal Counsel to join our team and work on litigation matters.

Job Description

We're seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior In-House Legal Counsel to manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters, and commercial/contractual issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters
  • Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks
  • Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
  • Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all jurisdictions
  • Work closely with business teams to identify and address relevant legal risks
  • Build processes with operational teams to facilitate legal compliance across the company
  • Be the legal point of contact for the sustainability team

Requirements

  • Qualification in one bar association
  • A lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in litigation (commercial, platform, and consumer-related ideally)
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing high-stakes, complex litigation
  • Experience dealing with authorities (requests for information, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
  • The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions
  • Proactivity and attention to detail
  • Passion for technology-driven businesses
