DFDS France is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Calais. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, in accordance with both IFRS and French GAAP.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and French GAAP, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with the Finance Shared Service Centre in Poznan, Poland, to ensure timely and high-quality monthly reporting.
• Build effective relationships with business finance and operations teams to support financial decision-making and ensure the quality of reporting.
• Optimize financial processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with group policies and French regulation.

About You

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

• Fluency in French and English.
• Experience in an international environment and an audit background would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
