About the Role

As a Fashion Industry Career Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in connecting students and alumni with professionals within the dynamic fashion sector. Your primary focus will be on cultivating and strengthening relationships to facilitate internship and job placements for our talented individuals. You'll also be responsible for exploring new partnerships with leading fashion companies to expand professional opportunities for our students and maintain Istituto Marangoni's esteemed reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide students through the recruitment process for mandatory internships, ensuring a seamless alignment between their skills and company requirements. Review and enhance their resumes and portfolios to effectively showcase their abilities and meet industry expectations.
  • Promote and nurture our vibrant alumni network, encouraging active engagement in school activities and fostering a strong sense of community.
  • Develop and monitor student placement dashboards, providing valuable insights into graduate employment trends through comprehensive surveys.
  • Organize impactful career events to increase student visibility and create exciting internship opportunities within the fashion industry.
  • Provide personalized career development guidance to students during individual meetings, offering detailed information and support throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to establish strategic partnerships with prominent fashion companies, promoting our esteemed courses and programs to potential collaborators.
  • Contribute to the Alumni newsletter by crafting engaging profiles and providing insightful updates on current fashion market trends.
  • Maintain and update service databases regularly, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of essential information.
  • Actively participate in school events and activities, representing Istituto Marangoni with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of successful professional experience within a relevant industry.
