About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Installation Designer to join our engineering team at Efinor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing general installation solutions for our clients in the naval, oil & gas, environmental, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and propose technical solutions according to customer specifications
  • Preliminary CAD mock-ups and predimension equipment
  • Carry out surveys on customer sites and use 3D scans if necessary
  • Complete 3D modeling of equipment, including sheet metal, boilermade tanks, and pressure equipment
  • Integrate technological equipment into designs
  • Produce drawings, bills of materials, detail drawings, bundles, and associated notices
  • Take into account regulatory and normative requirements
Requirements

We are looking for a trained professional with a strong background in mechanics or equivalent, and at least ten years of experience in general installation design. You should be familiar with industry standards, including DESP, ASME, and CODAP. SolidWorks experience is highly appreciated, but skills in other CAD software are also valued.
