About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Economic Analyst to join our team focused on shaping environmental policies within key sectors.
As an Economic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing the economic impacts of environmental policies related to biodiversity, water resource management, and forestry. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing sound policy recommendations that balance economic growth with environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive economic analyses of proposed environmental policies within the aforementioned sectors.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of existing environmental policies, providing data-driven insights to inform policy adjustments.
- Participate actively in international negotiations on environmental issues, representing France's position on economic and financial matters related to biodiversity conservation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including ministries, public institutions, and private sector organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to policy development.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in economics or a related field, coupled with practical experience in environmental policy analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in microeconomic analysis and environmental economics.
- In-depth understanding of current environmental policies and international agreements related to biodiversity, water resources, and forestry.
