Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Administration, you will manage the team responsible for payroll, including the recording of all personnel elements required in the payroll system, time and absence management, and other activities linked with Human Resources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the reliability of the payroll and social charges every month.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the unit team: collect, enter variable payroll items, prepare, calculate, monitor, and analyze payroll, establish social declarations, URSSAF and DSN processing, manage social charges and declarations, including Mutuelle, Prevoyance, manage Time and Absence procedures and links with payroll and other reporting tools, perform other administrative duties (visitors management).
  • Ensure compliance of the payroll and the time management with law, agreements existing within the company.
  • Follow up of payroll and time management processes and administer the data of the information systems for the payroll and time management activities.
  • Liaise with finance service for budget issues and closing of accounts, calculate year-end provisions.
  • Prepare and report on staff remuneration and other Personnel Costs data (DM, CSE, French Administration, EU and other Grants, Internal and External Auditors, Governing bodies, etc.).
  • Be the privileged interlocutor for time and payroll management settings.
  • Contribute and/or lead projects to improve the HR information system.
Expected Profile
  • Higher University degree (Master II or equivalent) in human resources management (Master, MSc, DESS Diploma, Licenciatura, Laurea or equivalent).
  • 5 years of professional experience minimum in the field of HR activities-payroll and time management.
  • 3 years' experience minimum in team management.
  • Team spirit, structure, listening, and communication skills, ability to build and maintain effective relationships with Directors, staff, stakeholders, and HR suppliers.
  • Proficiency in English (working language at the ESRF) and good knowledge of French.
Working Conditions
