About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Delivery Manager to join our growing team of BI consultants. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex data-driven projects for our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement robust data application architectures that balance cost, time constraints, and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to established architectural principles and best practices.
- Work closely with project managers and product owners to optimize team workload and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain velocity and meet deadlines.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, quality, and timeliness, proposing solutions to address any deviations from targets.
- Contribute to team development by evaluating skills, identifying training needs, and participating in the recruitment process.
- Foster a culture of excellence within teams, encouraging collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Provide regular updates on project status and key performance metrics to senior leadership.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in large-scale data programs.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing data application architectures for high-volume and complex data processing environments (e.g., DataHub, Big Data, Data Science, Machine Learning).
- Strong understanding of Agile project methodologies (SAFe preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies such as NoSQL databases, Data Lakes (Databricks), ETL tools (Talend, Informatica), Web services (REST, SOAP), Python, Spark, DevOps, and Kafka.
