Job Summary:
The FIA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Technical Specialist for the Off-Road Championships. This is a unique opportunity to work on the technical aspects of the FIA Off-Road Championships and contribute to the development of the Cross Car category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical aspects of the FIA Off-Road Championships, including drafting technical regulations and amendments.
- Act as Technical Delegate for the Rallycross World Championship, ensuring the highest level of technical integrity.
- Prepare and conduct technical regulations meetings, engaging with international players and competitors to ensure sound management.
- Monitor the development of the Cross Car category, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Conduct homologation processes and support ASNs with the homologation of Cross Car chassis, ensuring compliance with FIA regulations.
- Prepare scrutineering tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the technical evaluation process.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent expert level, with 10-15 years of experience in high-level competition.
- In-depth knowledge of powertrains, including ICE, electric, and new energies.
- Global knowledge of technical parameters of competition cars, including mechanics, aerodynamics, and electricity.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to engage in dialogue with international players and competitors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, data acquisition software, and SolidWorks.
