Director of R&D, Software

L-Acoustics Group is seeking a visionary Director of R&D, Software to lead our Software & Creative product and technology branch. As a key member of our Executive Directors of R&D, you will be responsible for driving the overall success of the branch in achieving long-term research goals and ensuring technologies and platforms are aligned and enabling best-in-class Product Development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the R&D strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives, setting up the branch for success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key stakeholders, including Product Management Directors and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Departmental Leadership: Manage and provide strategic direction to Department leadership, ensuring each department aligns with the overall R&D strategy and company objectives.
  • Innovation and Technology Integration: Drive the exploration and integration of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Talent Development: Attract, develop, and manage a diverse and inclusive team of R&D professionals.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in significant leadership roles across research and development.
  • Proven background in Software R&D leadership.
  • Strong technical proficiency in software development, technology platforms, and product innovation.
  • Experience in integrating emerging technologies and driving organizational innovation.
