Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Operations Specialist to join our team at Newrest.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor operational activities across departments to ensure adherence to expectations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform regular Operational Compliance audits to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Pick and Pack, Food Production, and Transportation teams to ensure adequate staffing supports On-Time Performance (OTP) goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to implement proactive measures to meet Dock Ready Time (DRT) performance targets.
  • Analyze data using the Winrest Application (TIMEBLOCK) to track OTP and ensure timely equipment movement.
  • Verify that agents are present at workstations and promptly address any delays in DRT performance.
  • Identify and communicate performance compliance issues to departmental leadership for corrective action.
  • Provide support to operational functions as requested by Management.
  • Promote the 4 Core Newrest Values: Simplicity, Humility, Efficiency, and Responsibility.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in communications and execution of duties.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years' experience in inflight catering, airport hub environments, manufacturing, logistics, or the food industry preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levels.
  • Effective conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
  • Knowledge of investigation procedures and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and operational processes.
  • Strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observation abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data to effectively manage risk.

Newrest is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
