**Job Summary**

Newrest is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring operational compliance throughout the food, beverage, and equipment movement process. This role will ensure that departments are meeting expectations and associated SOPs are being followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor activity within all departments to ensure team members are performing functions according to expectations and associated SOPs.
  • Perform operational compliance audits for performance measurement.
  • Coordinate with Pick and Pack, Food Production, and Transportation to ensure staffing supports On Time Performance (OTP) to meet Dock Ready Time (DRT).
  • Utilize Winrest Application (TIMEBLOCK) to track OTP via required time stamps to follow the movement of equipment.
  • Ensure agents are present at workstations to ensure timely DRT performance.
  • Monitor planned DRT against actual DRT and elevate issues to departmental leadership any time actual exceeds planned by more than 10 minutes, with reasons for delayed DRT.
  • Track performance compliance issues and communicate to Departmental leadership for corrective actions.
  • Provide support to operational functions as requested by Management.
  • Practice and promote the 4 Core Newrest Values: Simplicity, Humility, Efficiency, and Responsibility.
  • Maintain a sense of positivity and professionalism in their communications and execution of duties.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years' experience in inflight catering or airport hub environment, manufacturing, logistics, or food industry preferred
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levels
  • Ability to effectively handle conflict and de-escalate emotionally charged situations
  • Good knowledge of investigation procedures and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational processes
  • Strategic thinker with creative and excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Strong analytical skills for interpretation of data to effectively manage risk
