Infrastructure Software Engineer

At Loft Orbital Solutions, we have recently achieved significant milestones with our satellite operations. As we expand our global presence, we are seeking a talented Infrastructure Software Engineer to contribute to our Mission Integration Tools division and enhance the technology that underpins our upcoming missions.
This role is based in our Toulouse, France office.
As an Infrastructure Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying the systems that manage our infrastructure emulation products. Being part of a compact and agile team, you will gain invaluable experience in creating the infrastructure emulator that is essential for our growth. We are looking for individuals who possess a product-oriented mindset, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and experience in establishing software infrastructures. Furthermore, we seek candidates who are:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy systems for managing infrastructure emulation products.
- Create and implement tools for lifecycle management of field products.
- Collaborate with the core infrastructure team to establish and disseminate best practices.
- Gain an understanding of various internal products to integrate and expose them within our emulators for effective testing.
- Engage with multiple internal stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Break down extensive projects into manageable tasks to facilitate iterative progress.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development within a product-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of creating, configuring, and managing containers, preferably using Docker.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Knowledge of security measures related to deployments, such as image hardening.
- Experience in web service development.
