Become an integral part of the Qorvo Automotive team, shaping the future of Secure Access products. In this capacity, you will spearhead our initiatives to define and deliver comprehensive solutions that provide outstanding user experiences by thoroughly understanding the needs of our users (customers or partners) and seamlessly guiding them through their journey. You will be accountable for establishing new system requirements and leading a team of System, Hardware, and Software architects.
This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in the forthcoming growth wave in Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, particularly its integration into the automotive sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play a pivotal role in the ACBU Secure Access group, actively participating in application definition and development, market and product strategies, and long-term product roadmaps.
- Develop System Requirement Documents (SRDs) and initiate Proof of Concept (POC) for new product development ahead of roadmap requirements.
- Collaborate with our chip product definition team to ensure alignment with our UWB silicon developments.
- Drive your team to innovate new applications targeting complex use cases relevant to the automotive market, validate with customer user experiences, and advocate for new requirements to be integrated into future product development.
- In partnership with engineering and third-party vendors, take charge of defining, developing, and delivering our commercial applications aligned with market use cases for the automotive sector.
- Engage with marketing, sales, and business development to support product promotion efforts.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with strategic partners and complementary product vendors to ensure optimal positioning of our products within the ecosystem.
- Participate in project follow-up meetings – both internal and external – including regular meetings with local teams and customers as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Over 20 years of experience in a technical management role within a similar technology domain.
- Highly self-driven and motivated, capable of taking full ownership of activities and engaging other functions in the company or management when necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated business acumen with a strong balance of technical, business, and management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Quick learner of new technologies, applications, and products.
- Proficient in presenting to diverse audiences.
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey information concisely.
- Understanding of customer-client relationships.
- Cross-cultural awareness for effective communication with colleagues and partners globally.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering or Master's degree in Electronics, Software, or RF.
- An MBA would be advantageous.
