This team forms a significant component of the Global Markets Risk function, and the broader Global Risk Management department, which offers a wide range of opportunities for career development across different asset classes and locations.

The role involves managing significant risk positions, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, and working with data for risk sign-off and reporting.

It also requires a thorough understanding of risk management practices and appreciation for financial products.

The role requires understanding the business activity on a trading desk and undertaking risk reporting across a range of audiences ranging from individual traders, through to senior management and regulators.

You will be the Risk Manager for EMEA GFX, supporting crucial risk management oversight and analysis for a broad range of trading activities within the GFX & LCT line of business.

Oversee development of market risk coverage plans, execution of monitoring, testing and risk assessments, and market risk reporting for specific products

Liaise with businesses to understand market trends and impacts on portfolio, using knowledge of stress testing and its applicability to market risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage significant risk positions
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Understand risk management practices and financial products
  • Undertake risk reporting across a range of audiences
  • Support crucial risk management oversight and analysis
