Job Title: Senior Software Architect
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for advancing sales opportunities and providing technical expertise to our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with sales representatives early in the sales cycle to qualify opportunities and support the proposal process.
- Design and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our software solutions to internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with senior management at customers to understand their requirements and determine the most appropriate and cost-effective solution.
- Convey the value and benefits of our software solutions to customer decision-makers.
- Work with technical experts to obtain and load customer data into our software products for customer-specific demonstrations and proof-of-value exercises.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10-20 years of experience in a similar senior role in the utilities industry or in service product organizations that serve this industry.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry executives and other senior decision-makers.
- Credible communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English, and a confident presenter in front of audiences.
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, from a four-year college or university.
- Fluent spoken and written home language, fluent spoken and written English (additional European languages are an advantage).
- Experience of project implementation in the field of software deployment (such as SAP or Maximo) is an advantage.
- Experience in the introduction of enterprise software solutions is desirable.
- Skills or previous experience in the implementation of asset management solutions such as Ellipse, Asset Suite, IBM Maximo, SAP, Oracle ERP, Infor, or IFS will be considered an advantage but is not essential.
