Orano is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Manager to join its dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Risks, Compliance, and Internal Audit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Orano's risk management framework.
As the Risk Manager Group, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
Risk Mapping & Analysis- Develop and implement a robust risk mapping methodology aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Lead comprehensive risk assessments across all business units, ensuring a thorough understanding of potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and facilitate regulatory risk mapping exercises (e.g., Sapin II, Duty of Vigilance) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain the group's risk taxonomy and ensure its accuracy and relevance.
- Serve as secretary to the Risk Committee, effectively managing meetings and documentation.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and promote best practices through training programs and workshops for risk managers across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to business unit risk managers, facilitating their risk management activities and ensuring consistency in approach.
- Prepare concise and informative reports on key risks and mitigation strategies for the Executive Committee and Audit & Ethics Committee.
- Oversee the administration and evolution of OSCAR (Orano System for Internal Control, Audit, and Risk), ensuring its effectiveness across all modules (risk mapping, internal control self-assessment, internal audit).
- Collaborate with the software vendor to implement enhancements and address user needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management documentation, including procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Contribute to the annual activity report by providing a dedicated chapter on risk management.
- Prepare responses to questionnaires from stakeholders and regulatory authorities regarding risk management practices.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging risks.
- Identify potential threats and opportunities, proactively advising the organization on mitigation strategies and adaptation measures.
This role may also involve participation in internal audit missions, compliance projects, and vigilance committee activities, contributing to Orano's overall risk management ecosystem.
