Job Summary

The Secretary-Medical-Social position is a key role within the Department of Seine-Maritime, responsible for providing administrative support to the medical-social teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the department's activities, including managing documents, coordinating logistics, and providing administrative assistance to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the medical-social teams, including managing documents, coordinating logistics, and providing administrative assistance.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the department's activities, including managing documents, coordinating logistics, and providing administrative assistance.
  • Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure the timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and other departmental staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and other stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with departmental policies, procedures, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve the quality of services provided.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of new policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in administration, social work, or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the department's service area.
