About the Role
Nutropy is seeking a highly skilled Bioprocessing / Fermentation Scientist to join our team in Evry-Courcouronnes, France. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing microbial processes and strains to produce recombinant proteins and molecules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, execute, and analyze experiments in collaboration with supervisors and colleagues
- Develop and optimize bioprocessing and analytical methods
- Assist with technology transfer to external partners
- Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory
- Prepare and present results with statistical analyses and technical recommendations
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a lab with bioreactor fermentation, ideally 2-5 years
- Hands-on experience with bioreactor performance optimization, DOE, fermentation process scale-up, and experience in a start-up environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
