Group Internal Financial Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Group Risk Management team as a Group Internal Financial Control Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the IFC Solvency 2 framework at corporate and entity level, providing assurance to Top Management on the quality of controls, and acting as the key contact for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IFC Solvency 2 framework implementation at corporate and entity level, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Provide assurance to Top Management on the quality of controls, based on independent assessments.
- Act as the key contact for CRO or management on remediation of significant deficiencies and interaction with auditors/regulators.
- Monitor relationships with entities on IFC Solvency 2 matters, ensuring closure of deficiencies.
- Provide support and challenge to local IFC teams, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Manage the IFC Solvency 2 consolidation process, preparing reports and presentations for Group governance bodies.
- Ensure regular liaison with external auditors to support the programme.
- Good understanding of the insurance business, including organization, risks, processes, and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of Solvency 2 regulation.
- At least 5 years of experience in Control function, preferably in Insurance or Financial Services.
- Experience in international and transversal project management.
- Effective change management capacity.
- Effective communication and writing skills in English, including conference meetings, presentations, reports, guidance, and standards.
