Our Business Development team, relying on more than 60 years of engineering and construction experience, has a proven capability to manage and deliver on time and within budget mega projects (tens of billion Euros), which is a significant asset in the Nuclear industry where size meets complexity. The re-industrialization of our continents will be limited by the capacity to feed all these new industrial projects with sufficient and low carbon energies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Gather, consolidate, and share knowledge related to the business environment of the Nuclear and Aerospace markets, particularly related to clients, partners/competitors, and local market peculiarities (local content requirement, specific legal and fiscal regimes, forex issues, applicable rules, norms, and standards specific to these industries).
  2. Establish and maintain sustainable relationships with the relevant management and technical/commercial departments of national and international stakeholders, clients, and partners organizations, through regular visits, while leveraging the knowledge gathered by the rest of Technip Energies organization (ongoing projects, other business units, operating centers, etc.).
  3. The market understanding and analysis includes particular client organizations, investment plans, key personnel, decision-making processes, key selection criteria, as well as partners/competitors, financial and operational conditions, organization, workload, strengths and weaknesses, commercial strategies, and pricing trends.
  4. Monitor prospects, identifying targets and providing advanced information in order to establish commercial strategies before ITB is received.
  5. Prepare and lead pre-tendering strategy meetings to obtain Technip Energies management validation of the commercial strategy.
  6. Launch and follow through compliance activities to validate external partners.
  7. Provide inputs and supervise preparation for pre-qualifications in line with Client requirements and the commercial strategy.
  8. Whenever possible, act as technical & commercial support of the BD Regional Network, helping them to apply the commercial strategy defined by the Business Line's Head of Market.
Requirements
  1. Commercial/Management degree with strong technical experience in Nuclear and/or Aerospace market or Engineer with strong Marketing and International Business Development experience.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Nuclear and/or Aerospace markets.
  3. Good overall knowledge and experience over the main project stages and particularities of Nuclear and Aerospace projects.
  4. Experienced with Nuclear and/or Aerospace client requests for quotations.
  5. Technical & commercial autonomy, able to bring a 360° approach/understanding of a N&A project.
  6. Fluent in English; international experience is a plus.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in multicultural environments.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work simultaneously on multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
  9. Demonstrated negotiation skills with ability to actively listen and analyze.
  10. Engineering experience is a plus but not mandatory.
