About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for medium or highly critical bids, ensuring that our clients receive compelling, competitive, and comprehensive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic bid management plans to ensure successful proposal development and delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and understand customer needs, and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage the tender process, including coordinating internal activities, promoting the company and its products, and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and instructions.
  • Work closely with the tender team, including sub-system bid managers, to develop and deliver high-quality proposals.
  • Manage the budget and ensure that all costs are accurately estimated and tracked.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply that knowledge to improve bid management processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in bid management, proposal development, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of tender processes and bid management in a complex technical environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French.
  • Proven track record of developing winning proposals and delivering successful bid outcomes.
