Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Commercial Aircraft team at Airbus. As a key member of our digital department, you will be responsible for delivering solutions to support the Definition and Fulfillment of Customer Order process.
About the Role:
This position is part of the IM Product Customer A/C Definition department, where Agility, Empowerment, and Collaboration are our core values. As a successful candidate, you will support the product team as a Solution Architect, driving our transformation through a collaborative mindset and preparing the future to ensure our competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validates product designs.
Collaborate with other Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting-edge technologies.
Define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions.
Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle, including research and design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
Align architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long-term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems.
Perform the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design.
Provide expertise on Business processes, change management transformation, function improvement, and technology enablement for Business processes reengineering and supports architects during projects.
Requirements:
Architect experience (functional and technical)
Knowledge on Customer activities (Airline, MROs, Lessors, etc.) and Customer Services will be well appreciated
Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it to stakeholders management
Team Player and collaborative mindset
Advanced level in French and negotiation level in English
