We are seeking skilled professionals to join our Energy Providers International team in a Senior Consultant role.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive the acceleration of the energy transition for major private and public organizations. You will engage in strategic and transformational support for various global energy groups, contributing to their strategic shift towards sustainable, cost-effective, and low-carbon energy sources.
Your focus will encompass a range of topics and projects related to energy strategy, business model development, electricity and gas markets, corporate transformation, and low-carbon energy solutions, including hydrogen, biofuels, renewable energy, storage, decentralized resources, digital solutions, and energy services.
In this position, you will collaborate with regional and international leaders to expand the Energy Providers sector, particularly targeting international enterprises, through the following responsibilities:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their key challenges and requirements.
- Assist in crafting compelling value propositions aligned with client needs, in collaboration with Directors and Partners.
- Support the development of business opportunities for clients, especially within the energy sector, but not limited to it.
- Work collaboratively across disciplines to create innovative solution offerings that resonate with target clients.
- Manage multiple and/or complex consulting projects, from corporate strategy to implementation and change management.
- Ensure project profitability through effective management of client expectations and team productivity.
- Generate unique ideas and demonstrate sound judgment in identifying the most promising opportunities.
- Be a supportive team member while engaging with international expert networks.
- Play a pivotal role in executing innovative solutions and applying technical knowledge and best practices.
- Mentor, develop, and grow the local consulting team.
Our team members are responsible for managing their tasks and schedules while delivering high-quality client work. Our consultants must demonstrate a deep understanding of issues and a keen focus on maximizing client value and building long-term relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional experience (or 4+ years with an MBA) in strategy and management consulting or corporate strategy.
- Proven experience in strategy consulting within the energy sector and/or client solutions.
- Experience in drafting business proposals, including budget development and timeline management involving multiple subject matter experts.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking with a keen attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving.
- A resilient team player with the ability to work effectively within international teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Fluency in French and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Master's degree from top institutions or an international university degree with a specialization in energy economics, business management, engineering, or related fields. Dual degrees are highly valued.
