Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer & Business Marketing Support to join our team in France. As a key member of our Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in water treatment solutions, business development, and marketing support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead project opportunities from inquiry to order, with a focus on safe and effective water treatment solutions for our customers.
- Participate in customer meetings, including travel to sites in Europe, to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Establish scope of supply and associated costs, including installation, commissioning, service, consumables, chemicals, labor, and third-party supply.
- Identify and mitigate project-associated risks, with a strong focus on health and safety, and environmental protection.
- Develop attractive proposals and presentations, in line with brand guidelines, to showcase our value proposition.
- Support business development efforts by analyzing data, drawing valuable conclusions, and creating marketing documents for our commercial teams.
- Working towards a degree in chemical or environmental engineering or a business-related course.
- Experience or interest in business marketing.
- Good mathematical ability, with basic knowledge of report logic and data visualization.
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal). Additional language skills are beneficial.
- Previous experience in water and/or wastewater operation, engineering, or bid management is not necessary but will be an advantage.
- Driving license (car).
- Ability to travel occasionally within the EU and UK.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently.
- Commitment to quality and high standard of published work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and keep to agreed deadlines.
