Job Description

Lesaffre, a leading global player in fermentation, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager Europe to support the growth of our business unit.

Context and Environment

The Technical Sales Manager Europe will be based at our headquarters in Lille and will provide products and technical services to selected European markets, primarily in the Fuel Ethanol industry.

Core Function

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the sales of value-added yeast products in the segments of 1G and 2G fuel ethanol by leveraging our product and service offer.

Duties: Sales
  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Fuel Ethanol industry.
  2. Manage sales and technical service operations in Europe, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities, both internally and externally.
  4. Prepare sales offers, negotiate deals, and contract to closure.
Technical Service
  1. Visit existing customers to provide best-in-class technical services, leveraging our resources and expertise.
Promotion
  1. Collaborate with our Marketing team to prepare presentations for seminars, conferences, and tradeshows.
  2. Assist in organizing seminars and events.
  3. Participate actively in such events.
Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in Sciences or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a technical position, with sales experience a plus.
  3. Good statistical skills and experience in using statistics software.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in both English and French.
Additional Information

The position includes business travel to customers (more than 40%) in Europe and occasionally overseas for conferences and meetings.
