About the Role

Back Market is seeking a highly skilled Head of Accounting Transformation to join its finance team. As a key member of the Director of Finance & Accounting Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the company's financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's global accounting operations, including monthly, half-year, and annual closings.
  • Supervise the work of subsidiaries and liaise with external accounting firms.
  • Lead the relationship with auditors and ensure compliance with IFRS and consolidation requirements.
  • Improve accounting tools and processes continuously, focusing on automation, billing, and management fees.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects impacting accounting, such as electronic invoicing, new country openings, and accounting internalization of subsidiaries.
  • Manage a team of 4 people across 2 time zones (EMEA and US).
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in audit and/or corporate accounting, with a solid understanding of IFRS and consolidation.
  • Bilingual in French and fluent in English.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and a sense of urgency.
  • Reliable team player with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
