We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to support the Area HSSE Manager in executing Health, Safety, Security, and Environment strategies at an area level.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Maersk Global HSE frameworks and local requirements, co-create plans at Area and site level, and develop organizational priorities in support of the agreed strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with French Legislation in all French Sites.
  • Advise the business on HSE legislative and best practice development.
  • Manage Maersk HSE requirements at an area level.
  • Coordinate 'Site HSSE focal points' work and maintain an overview of all sites within the area geography.
  • Interpret the Corporate HSE strategy to co-create plans at Area and site level.
  • Empower Operational team members to implement HSE related activities.
  • Assure critical controls are identified and control effectiveness and maintenance plans are developed and implemented.
  • Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support across functionalities.
  • Influence stakeholders within the SWE Area to support HSE in all decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in HSE, Intervenants en Prévention des Risques Professionnels (IPRP), or Diploma in Prévention SST.
  • Robust knowledge of French HSE legislations applicable to logistics industry and supply chain.
  • 3 years + of experience in HSE, at an advisory level, in warehouses and logistics industry and supply chain.
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2) and French (mother tongue).
