Senior Director Strategic Sourcing

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Director Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain to drive our company's growth and success. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and developing solutions that drive commercial growth, margin enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy that drives optimal service across our diverse customer channels, ensuring risk management, cost optimization, and product reliability and quality.
- Partner with our engineering team to identify and engage the best suppliers, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high-quality inputs for innovative designs.
- Lead the end-to-end Integration Business Planning strategy deployment, aligning strategic objectives and operational plans to drive business performance.
- Participate in the design and execution of our global footprint strategy to support international expansion efforts.
- Drive the supply chain's digital transformation, ensuring execution excellence through the implementation of best-in-class processes, systems, and tools.
- Implement our corporate Indirect purchasing policy and provide support to other functions in finding the best partners and establishing optimal terms and conditions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for strategic projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and refine our make or buy strategy, determining the optimal approach for both raw materials and finished goods across all regions.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for inventory management, ensuring optimal service level and inventory turns.
- Lead and enable a high-performance team of professionals, inspiring, recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, driving accountability for achieving results.
- Establish and maintain a robust system for data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity across the supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management roles, with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, integrated business planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in the electronics industry.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced and matrix environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and cohesion, and to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual French and English: To serve clients and external service providers across Canada and USA.
