RDM Group is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our Sales WLC Team based in France. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling our RDM WLC product portfolio to customers in your designated area of reference.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to defining the budget for our plants, including tonnage and selling price.
- Sell to assigned customers to achieve the budgeted tons and spread.
- Identify decision-makers and establish relationships with buyers or managers at the customer level.
- Analyze gaps and define corrective actions to improve sales performance.
- Manage claims with mill support and collaborate with Regional TCS to investigate customer needs.
- Support customer delivery and provide technical solutions based on internal services.
- Establish relationships with various business stakeholders, including customer service, credit managers, and logistics departments.
- Analyze and agree on customer credit policies with Regional Sales Managers and Group Credit Managers.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the market, customer needs, and trends, and provide insights to management colleagues.
- Implement the Communication Strategy to support business goals and analyze opportunities for process optimization.
- Support claims management from customers, diagnose defects in our cartonboard, and provide input to improve process and cartonboard quality.
- Degree in economics or equivalent training/education.
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales role with a strong technical background and experience in the paper industry.
- Excellent knowledge of English, with another European language a plus.
- Ability to develop new accounts, results-driven, and team-oriented.
- Business acumen and ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proactive approach, problem-solving, flexibility, negotiation skills, and ability to think and act strategically.
France, with full remote work availability and occasional travel required.
