Material Scientist Life Sciences and Water Treatment Specialist

The Material Scientist in Life Sciences and Water Treatment is responsible for developing innovative minerals-based products and solutions for life sciences and water treatment applications, driving Imerys' organic growth in this segment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute S&T projects and develop necessary technologies for the Life Science business, including new applications, services, and technical support using laboratory resources.
- Nurture IMERYS relationships with Life Science customers.
- Ensure tight coordination with Operations, Commercial, and Business teams, as well as Technical Services.
- Accountable for technology development, efficient resource use, and timely delivery of solutions.
- Contribute to Laboratory safety and asset acquisition and maintenance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a transversal environment.
- Product development from idea to commercialization.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver results in a challenging environment.
- Ability to propose solutions.
- PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science.
- 5+ years of work experience in Life Science applications R&D, particularly in water treatment.
