About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Content Lead (Account Director) to oversee the client, account, and local team for a prominent automotive brand, ensuring all campaigns and workstreams align with the overall business goals and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple client teams, driving meetings, communications, and strong client relationships.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction in the local market, addressing escalations and collaborating with the Business Director.
  • Foster close-knit relationships with clients, external agencies, and internal teams, both locally and across production hubs.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with clients to support business growth, planning and following up on quarterly business reviews, and setting and meeting KPIs with the Business Director.
  • Steer clients, local creatives, and producers, optimizing resourcing and maximizing profits, while confidently thinking three steps ahead.
  • Oversee project scopes, media, and project plans, with final sign-off on project scopes, quotes, and timelines before sharing with the client.
  • Ensure great communication between producers, clients, agencies, and production hubs, serving as the second point of contact for internal escalations.
  • Manage the financial health of the account, including annual and monthly net revenue and cost tracking, and monthly financial PO/project reconciliations, adhering to business ethic policies and rules.
  • Own the mentoring, supporting, and training of producers on the team.
  • Conduct project post-mortems, both internally and externally, evaluating the good, bad, and ugly of finished projects.
  • Manage invoicing hygiene across the portfolio of projects, ensuring vendors are paid in a timely fashion.
  • Interview new producers and account managers, ensuring they possess a strong skillset and are a good cultural fit for the team.
  • Support the Business Director in flagging risks and losses proactively and developing a plan to stabilize revenue.
  • Assist in turning pitches into projects, liaising between creatives and makers throughout the process.
About YouThe Essentials:
  • 8+ years of experience in coordinating accounts and project teams for large multinational brands in creative production or agencies, with a focus on the automotive industry.
  • Proven ability to manage demanding clients and high-complexity situations, maintaining composure and experience while keeping cool.
  • Well-versed in managing and growing client relationships within the automotive industry.
  • Clear understanding of the full integrated production lifecycle and the differences between Creative, Social, Adaptation, and Always-On workstreams.
  • Able to safeguard quality, scope, timelines, and budgets, with a track record of accurate and profitable estimates, and steering producers with great care, organization, and confidence.
  • Strong financial account leadership skills and experience, showcasing abilities to lead a profitable account operation.
  • Experience working with media agencies, local clearance bodies, Legal, QA, and Finance teams, with a background in conflict resolution.
  • Team player and self-starter with an unbreakable positive mindset, comfortable taking the lead and showcasing a strong sense of responsibility.
