Defta Group is a leading manufacturer of metal parts, and we are seeking a skilled Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
- Develop and optimize industrial processes from inception to start-up and certification.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the design and manufacture of new products.
- Carry out preliminary studies for reliability, increased production, and loss reduction.
- Help put new equipment and processes into production, including drawing up specifications and costing.
- Supervise the phases of tests and fine-tuning of the processes.
- Analyze malfunctions and participate in the implementation of a continuous improvement approach.
- Look for technical and economic solutions to optimize production costs.
- Propose areas for improvement and estimate costs with the design office.
- Develop supplier sourcing and technically analyze their offers.
- Break down and analyze the different stages of the process to make production processes more reliable.
- Carry out feasibility studies to adapt the production tool to new commercial demands.
Requirements:
- Bac+5 training in mechanical engineering, electronics, or equivalent.
- Solid experience (approximately 5 years) in industrial process engineering or machine design.
- Excellent technical skills (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, robotic).
- Knowledge of the different processes used in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Creativity, proactivity, and analytical thinking.
- A good level of English (B2) is required.
