Product Owner for Mining Operations F/M

The mining industry is central to our strategic vision and is a key focus area. To enhance this momentum within Mining IS and assist our operations in achieving optimal performance, we are forming a new Mining Operations team within the IT Department. Our mission is to innovate and implement advanced application solutions across ERAMET Group subsidiaries.
Role Responsibilities:
The Product Owner for Mining Operations will oversee both existing and future MOM (Mine Operation Management) solutions for the mines managed by Eramet, steering their evolution towards modern practices and Industry 4.0 standards. This role will involve:
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to establish priorities
- Conducting technology assessments to remain aligned with industry advancements
- Ensuring coherence of standards within the IT framework, including infrastructure and cybersecurity
- Fostering a community of practice at the group level
- Assisting in data governance initiatives, including the harmonization of data models and the establishment of a centralized data repository
- Contributing to the development and execution of the industrial IS roadmap across subsidiaries
- Coordinating support for operational maintenance activities
- A Master's degree (Bac+5) with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in managing advanced industrial systems (Manufacturing Execution Systems, Production Information Management Systems, etc.) and/or industrial IoT solutions.
- Familiarity with the mining or process industries is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and French is essential; proficiency in a third language (such as Spanish or Chinese) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management, including:
- Specification writing (user stories)
- Project team management (prioritizing the backlog, defining and tracking sprints)
- Oversight of project consultants (Business Analysts, architects, developers, server administrators, etc.)
- Change management
- Organizing production launches
- Project reporting
