The EQUANS Solar & Storage division, part of Bouygues Energies Services, is expanding its operations in battery and energy storage solutions and is seeking a qualified BESS Project Manager.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Establish the necessary framework, direct, synchronize, and oversee projects comprehensively. Ensure adherence to timelines, financial plans, schedules, resource allocation, and physical advancements.
  • Primary Liaison: Serve as the principal contact for all internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Structuring and Documentation: Outline the project's framework and operational guidelines (methods, management tools, etc.).
  • Procurement: Generate purchase requests for services and subcontracting.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct progress meetings with clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Management: Oversee cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish project performance metrics (quality, cost, timelines).
  • Reporting: Consistently communicate updates to your supervisor.
  • Commitment Assurance: Ensure project completion timelines (PAT) and profitability.
  • Client Satisfaction: Foster client loyalty throughout project execution.
  • Comprehensive Insight and Technical Proficiency: Ability to alternate between a broad overview and detailed technical analysis.
  • Contract Oversight: Expertise in contract management, legal assessment, and capacity to make informed decisions with expert guidance.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., electrical engineering).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects within high voltage and/or renewable energy sectors in an international environment. Previous experience with battery energy storage systems is advantageous.
  • Team Leadership: Capability to manage diverse and multi-technical teams.
  • Management Tools: Proficient in project management and planning software.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French.
