Senior Aircraft Electronics Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Electronics Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our Computers & Electronics department, you will be responsible for managing the selection and development of onboard computers and displays, as well as associated technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish requirement specifications for equipment based on system architect needs.
  2. Assess technical proposals from suppliers.
  3. Manage supplier relationships throughout development.
  4. Lead main design and qualification reviews.
  5. Ensure interface between suppliers and Airbus Helicopters specialists.
  6. Provide certification justifications.
  7. Support helicopter integration, ground and flight tests, and Final Assembly Line.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in Aerospace and/or Electronic Engineering.
  2. Proven experience with onboard computer design and digital electronics, including Electronic certification (DO254).
  3. Broad practical engineering experience.
  4. Excellent organizational skills.
  5. Autonomous working style.
  6. Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  7. Proficiency in English.
